Tuktuk is one of the main means of transportation in Thailand. It’s kind of like a long lost brother of our very own Tricycle (or Trike.) I must say it is quite an experience. The way drivers drive and the sound of the mufflers, while riding it, you may think of these words: “Fast and the Furious.”

Be careful though when negotiating with some of them. Some reviews on youtube say that most are ripoff, which is up to you to decide when you get to visit Thailand if what they’re saying is true or not. But, as per our experience, yes, be careful. Prepare at least a hundred Baht (100 THB), estimated at 150 PhP if you plan to ride one. A Tuktuk can fit 3 to 4 persons.

Don’t miss it though. Thailand experience is not complete without it.
